SADDLE BROOK, N.J. — Dana Classic Fragrances has announced that it is re-releasing two of its popular fragrances: Love's Fresh Lemon and Love's Soft Jasmin.

The fragrances had very strong consumer loyalty throughout the '70s and '80s and, according to the company, their re-release has been requested and blogged about by fragrance users for several years.

Both fragrances will be available in 1.5-oz./ 45-mL body mists and will be featured at CVS stores in August.

In Blistex's grooming routine survey, the lip care brand found that even though 91% of women perform at least one measure that boosts their health and wellness (e.g., taking a vitamin, exercising and applying an anti-aging facial product), their lips often are abandoned, which could put them at risk for infection, Blistex said.

RYE BROOK, N.Y. — A new quarterly index developed by eBillme found that 19% of shoppers will spend more on Valentine's Day this year.

The index polled 1,200 consumers to measure projected online spending for the quarter and the influencing factors, eBillme said. Of the consumers polled, the index revealed, 32% of shoppers will purchase Valentine's Day gifts online.

This quarter, respondents also were asked what they planned to purchase for Valentine's Day. Findings included:

Indie Candy said that all of its products are free of artificial flavors and preservatives, and many of them also are free of dyes, gluten, casein/dairy and nuts.

OAK BROOK, Ill. A brand made by RC2 has inked a product licensing agreement with a leading provider of healthcare products used for the screening, detection, treatment, monitoring and tracking of common medical ailments in newborn care.

As part of the deal, Natus Medical will manufacture and distribute a line of The First Years brand's GumDrop pacifiers, accessories and other related items. The First Years' GumDrop product line is slated to debut at retail in early 2011.
