DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Kraft Foods said it will continue to serve as official partner of NASCAR, while two of its brands will continue to serve as associate sponsors for Stewart-Haas Racing teammates Tony Stewart and Ryan Newman in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

Kraft said its Oreo, Nilla and Nutter Butter brands serve as the "official cookies" of NASCAR, while its Ritz and Wheat Thins brands will serve as the "official crackers" of NASCAR. The Oreo and Ritz brands also will continue to serve as associate sponsors of Stewart-Haas Racing.

The stores, which opened Wednesday, are located at the intersections of Long Beach Blvd. and 5th St., and Atlantic Ave. and 33rd Ave.

LONG BEACH, Calif. — Fresh & Easy is set to open two stores in Long Beach, Calif., on Sept. 14, the retailer announced Friday.

The move will double the number of stores Fresh & Easy has in the city, as well as bring more than 50 new jobs to the community. Fresh & Easy opened its first Long Beach store three years ago.

Fresh & Easy CEO Tim Mason said the company is "excited to work with the city and its leaders to bring Fresh & Easy to even more Long Beach neighborhoods."
