Good news for manufacturers and retailers: Millennials are, in fact, brand loyal. That’s according to a new survey of Millennial consumers from marketing data provider Adroit Digital, which found that 64% of Millennials are more brand-loyal or as brand-loyal as their parents, with 24% considering themselves to be more brand-loyal than their parents.

But there’s a catch.

GfK was one of four firms providing insights for the Walgreens campaign; the ad testing research was managed by Debbie Densmore of GfK Health (Market Access). Havas Life was the agency of record.

NEW YORK — The Electronic Retailing Self-Regulation Program on Tuesday recommended that truDERMA discontinue certain claims for the company’s Troxyphen dietary supplement, including claims that the product is “safe and clinically researched.”

As support for the performance and establishment claims at issue, the marketer submitted testing on its key ingredient. After reviewing the evidence, ERSP concluded that truDERMA provided a reasonable basis for claims relating to an “increased sex drive.”

NEW YORK — The National Advertising Division has referred to the Federal Trade Commission advertising claims made by Brain Research Labs, for Procera AVH, following the company’s failure to abide by the terms of an NAD decision.

In an underlying 2009 decision, NAD recommended that the advertiser discontinue a wide range of claims and testimonials for Procera AVH, including the unqualified claim that Procera AVH was “clinically shown to restore the memory and brain power you had 10-15 years ago" and claims that the product is “fast-acting.”

BOSTON — The maker of a mobile app designed to help consumers track and remember products for later has secured $5 million in new capital.

ShopAdvisor said it closed the financing round with Pittco Capital Partners, Seavest Capital, Rationalware Capital Partners and Boston investors Rob Soni and Bob Davoli. The new round brings the company's total funding to $7 million.
