The Chain Drug Marketing Association on Wednesday announced its 87th Annual Trade Expo will take place Feb. 19-22 at the Hilton Atlanta in Atlanta.

 NOVI, Mich. — The Chain Drug Marketing Association on Wednesday announced its 87th Annual Trade Expo will take place Feb. 19 to 22 at the Hilton Atlanta in Atlanta.

A “Lunch and Learn” for buyers is planned with Bruce Kneeland, of Epicor Software Solutions, speaking about “How successful Pharmacy Owners use the Front-End to Build Sales and Improve Their Image."

CDMA is owned by more than 100 regional drug chains, independent pharmacies, regional drug wholesalers, specialty distributors and buying groups.

ATLANTA — Sam's Club has become the first warehouse club retailer to install SoloHealth's comprehensive health-and-wellness screening kiosks, SoloHealth announced Wednesday.

SoloHealth said it will begin the rollout of its SoloHealth Station to more than 500 Sam's Club locations nationwide. The kiosks, currently available in select U.S. retail locations, is expected to be in more than 2,500 retail locations by mid-2013.

SoloHealth announced that the number of consumer interactions made at its SoloHealth Station health-and-wellness kiosks has surpassed 2.5 million.

ATLANTA — SoloHealth announced that the number of consumer interactions made at its SoloHealth Station health-and-wellness kiosks has surpassed 2.5 million.

The data — which have been compiled since January 2011 across approximately 200 kiosks currently in select Walmart, Safeway, Publix, CVS, Sam’s Club and Schnuck's Markets locations — also included the following results:

ATLANTA — UCB has launched a new drug for treating Parkinson's disease and restless legs syndrome, the company said Monday.

The Belgian drug maker announced the launch of Neupro (rotigotine) transdermal system, which the Food and Drug Administration approved in April. The drug is a once-daily patch that provides continuous delivery of rotigotine, a dopamine agonist, over 24 hours.
