CRN announces author Thomas Goetz opening speaker for annual event
WASHINGTON — The Council for Responsible Nutrition on Wednesday announced that Thomas Goetz, author and executive editor of Wired magazine, will make the opening address to attendees of The Conference, CRN’s annual symposium for the dietary supplement industry.
“Thomas Goetz ups the buzz factor for a conference that has already gotten the dietary supplement industry talking,” stated Judy Blatman, SVP communications at CRN. “The Conference has a reputation for bringing in cutting-edge thought leaders who challenge participants to think about not just today, but also how as an industry we can get on top of what’s coming tomorrow. Goetz fits that bill.”
In addition to Goetz, the following speakers already have been announced: FDA’s Daniel Fabricant and former White House strategist Karl Rove, (former senior adviser to President George W. Bush).
The Conference takes place Oct. 19 to 22 in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.
